Nostalgia

This is a song I have been sitting on for a while; Not sure why I never uploaded it. Anyhow, the entire process of thinking of and creating the song was based off of one word, which as you most likely can already tell, was “Nostalgia”.

The manifestation of that word in my mind is what you can listen to by clicking the link below!

The Death of Optimus Prime (Orchestral)

The Death of Optimus Prime

This track is a remake of one of my favorite songs, which is “The Death of Optimus Prime” by Vince DiCola. It was featured in the 1986 Transformers movie, and I think without the movie connection it is still a good song.

In my version, I recreated everything to be more of an orchestral version compared to the electronic stuff in the original. All of the notes and such were done by ear, so I did my best to make it accurate.

Worlds Apart

Making some music

This track is an original song that is my first to feature only orchestral elements, so I supposed the recreation of one song allowed me to be able to come up with something of my own.

For this song, which is named “Worlds Apart”, I tried to combine admiring something beautiful yet at the same time not being able to have it. Not sure if I succeeded, but I like the end result.

Arrival to Earth (Remix)

This is one of my more ambitious remixes, which features elements from Steve Jablonsky’s “Arrival to Earth” track, which was featured in the film score of the first live action Transformers movie. I also incorporated parts of the “Autobots” track as well. This was a “by ear” affair, so when all was said and done there were some inaccuracies, but overall I’m happy with the way it came out.

Due or Die Intro

This was a quick intro made for a friend’s short film that I also happened to star in. The song was made in one night, and that was actually the night before we had a small premiere party for friends. For such a quickly put together item, I was happy with the way it came out. This was my first song arranged with recordings of me playing guitar and bass along with electronic elements.
