Go Hockey Team Venture!

As I mentioned in my “I’m Back” Post, Older work of mine that normally would not be seen by viewers of this site is going to be brought back in “Spotlight” Features. I felt like this piece of imagery, “Go Hockey Team Venture”, was a good choice for the first spotlight, since it is A) Old, and B) Something I’m still proud of.

I started the image by just doing a graphic of a lone Brock Samson, who is a featured character in the Venture Bros. cartoon which airs on Cartoon Network’s Adult Swim (Season 4 of said show just ended actually, and I enjoyed it very much). I then started to see if I could wrap different clothing around the character, and given his “Hockey Hair”, I went for a hockey uniform. Things lead to things, and soon There was a rink background and other characters came into the mix and I ended up with what you now see.
